The aim of the training is to familiarize the participants with the current legal requirements and the resulting obligations related to waste management, as well as to receive practical guidance on the concrete application of legislation in their daily work.
During the training, special attention will be paid to the changes in regulations over the last year.
Special attention will also be paid to the functionality and operation of the innovative online platform WASTE HELP for remote consultancy services in the NISO system /National Waste Information System/.
The training is related to the application of the following regulations:
Waste Management Act and its by-laws, including:
Ordinance No. 1 of 04 June 2014 on the procedure and models for providing information on waste activities and the procedure for keeping public registers;
Ordinance No. 2 of 23 July 2014 on the classification of waste, etc.
The training is suitable for:
– Persons responsible for the overall management, including collection, storage, transportation, disposal and recovery of production, hazardous and construction waste on the territory of production plants, waste sites, landfills, etc.;
– Waste handlers, such as: waste transporters; operators of waste storage sites; operators of waste treatment facilities; waste recovery operators in waste repositories; waste disposal operators, etc.
