The aim of the training is to familiarize the participants with the regulatory changes, the current legislative requirements and the resulting obligations related to the safe handling and storage of substances and mixtures, proper labeling and packaging, as well as to receive practical guidance on the concrete application of legislation in their daily work.
The main topics in the training are related to sub-topics such as: the application of documents related to the management of substances and mixtures; safety data sheets, obligations, conditions and documents for safe storage, correct labelling and packaging, risks and consequences of improper storage, etc.
The training includes theoretical lectures supported by examples and discussion during which participants can ask questions. It is suitable for: any manufacturer, importer, downstream user or distributor placing substances or mixtures on the market, and for:
– those responsible for the safe storage of substances and mixtures; those with a right of access to stores of substances and mixtures, and those handling substances and mixture;
– the persons referred to in Section II of the Ordinance on the order and manner of storage of dangerous substances and mixtures;
– the persons referred to in Article 3(1) of the Ordinance on the prevention of major accidents with dangerous substances and limitation of their consequences, in connection with the requirements of Article 3(2)(5);
– persons referred to in Article 13(3) of Ordinance No 13 on protection of workers from risks related to exposure to chemical agents at work.
